Goldstream River

Atla is proposing an 18 MW hydropower generation project on Goldstream River, a tributary of Revelstoke Reservoir on the Columbia River. The project is located at the Highway 23 crossing of Goldstream River 41 km’s south of Mica Creek, BC. The current plan for the project contemplates an intake structure, a tunnel, a powerhouse, a tailrace, switchyard and a short 1 km access road. A 69 kV transmission line will be used connecting the project to one of the two existing Mica Dam 500 kV transmission lines at/or near the Mica Town Site via a new 69 kV to 500 kV sub-station. The project components are located on private land owned by Beaumont Timber Company Limited. |
