25/11/08 - Atla Submits a Bid into BC Hydro's Clean Power Call
Atla Energy submitted a bid to BC Hydro in response to their Clean Power Call. The bid submitted was for two projects on the Lower Goldstream and Lower Wood rivers. It is anticipated that BC Hydro will award Electricity Purchase Agreements to successful bidders in May-June 2009.
10/11/08 – Atla Hosts Open House in Revelstoke
Atla Energy hosted an evening Open House at the United Church in downtown Revelstoke to consult the local community regarding its' plans to bid two (2) projects into the upcoming Clean Energy Call. The Open House was well attended and provided an opportunity for Atla's owners, management, engineers and biologists to answer the communities questions about our proposed projects. Spring/Summer 2008 – Atla Applies for 10 Water Power Applications (WPA's)
Atla Energy applied for 10 WPA's in the Revelstoke-Mica area on the following rivers: Scrip Creek, Scrip Creek Tributary, Lower Goldstream River, Lower Wood River, Upper Wood River, Clemenceau Creek, Granite Creek, Sibley Creek and Brewster Creek.
